ABOUT
Linda Rose was born in the small town of Sulphur Springs, Texas in 1994, but she was raised on a farm in Birthright; a small community 15 miles from Sulphur Springs.
As a child, Linda had many hardships to overcome and started working in a factory after she graduated high school, where she worked for 4 years. When she made the choice to go to college, she left that job and started her new adventure. One of the main people who supported her art and dream was her father, William. He was her biggest inspiration for many of her art pieces. He also helped her with coming up with ideas because he used to paint as well.
She graduated from North Central Texas College (2018) with an Associates in Applied Science and an Associates in Art. From there she started University at Texas Women’s University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with her focus being Graphic Design. She is new to digital design and is working towards becoming a game designer. The type of medium that she usually works with is acrylic paint.
At Texas Women’s University she won a spot on TWU’s visual art page on Instagram with her Constitution Day Ad (2020). She currently works at NCTC as a Learning Resource Specialist in Information Technology and can tutor the Adobe Products, Microsoft products, and some types of coding like Java, C++, and AGK. She learned coding because it is the first step to becoming a game designer.
